weird and wonderful interfaces.

work nicely on Windows Phone. If you are already invested in Microsoft
Products, then the their mobile OS is a good step forward, so you can use your files and applications across phones, tablets, Windows
computers
Customization
Windows Phone 8.1 is stylish in its looks. Windows
Phone 8.1 stands out, with its vertically scrolling interface.

tiles each of which is essentially a miniature widget. The live tiles beat
widgets in terms of flexibility and customization options.
Live Tiles are colorful and has less empty space than Android
.Android has a more conventional interface like
other mobile OS’s, notably iOS.
Android has rows of tiles with quite a lot of space
between them and it scrolls
horizontally. There’s also a bar at the bottom which displays the same tiles.
The apps in Android are static icons but the widgets
makes it a lot more customizable. In Android you can customize almost
everything including the entire look and operation of the interface.
In Windows Phone from the home screen itself, you
can get a glimpse of- photos of your contacts, emails in your inbox, upcoming
appointments, recent shows on iPlayer ,ebooks, websites.
The new Action Center
Windows Phone’s Action Center is only a recent
addition. This is a lot like the notification screen on Android, allowing you
to access notifications and commonly used settings toggles from a pull down
bar. It doesn't have the flexibility and ability to launch actions that the
Android equivalent has.
At last Windows Phone 8.1 brings a
speed dial function to the OS!!
Using android apps and customization options you can easily outdo almost any Windows Phone feature.
Google Now vs Cortana
They are similar in many ways, but they are not
identical. Both are impressive in their own ways. Both of them will give you
customized information and advice.
Both will respond to voice or written commands. But
Google Now has an upper hand.
OneDrive
vs Google drive
OneDrive the cloud storage
platform of Windows Phone is in direct competition with Google Drive, but OneDrive is only a maturing platform.
Conclusion
Windows Phone is still an OS that
fewer than one in 20 people are using worldwide. Android and Windows Phone 8.1
will deliver the basics and even more advanced features.
Windows Phone is slick, stylish and intuitive.
Android has more features and more options.
If you want to select from a wide
range of applications then go for android. Especially for gaming, Android has a
wide range of more polished games available.
But if you want a smartphone that just works and
looks good then Windows Phone 8.1 is arguably the better choice.
